So YALC happened this weekend. If you're unaware, YALC stands for Young Adult Literature Convention and is held at London Film & Comic Con, this year at Olympia, London. I only managed to go to the Sunday, as I had other commitments on the Friday and Saturday but loved the atmosphere of both YALC and comic-con. Since I'm suffering from YALC withdrawal symptoms, I've been reading endless blogs to find the best wrap-ups to describe how amazing the weekend was and wanted to share my favourites with you:
Hot Key wrapped up the events of the weekend from a publishers point of view. With images, quick paragraphs about what the weekend entailed and a breakdown of their favourite moments - Hot Key Blog is the first place you should go to check out what went down at YALC.
One of the most in-depth wrap-ups I've seen, Iona from Where Is Wallis has done a great job of covering the Saturday. With photos, stories of her day and her thoughts on improving it for the future, if you're looking for an in-depth guide of what you missed or just want to relive the event, this blog is the perfect place to go.
A thorough wrap-up on the panels, authors, bloggers and things she hopes for next year, Rosy writes an in-depth wrap-up of her weekend at YALC.
If you attended YALC and have written or filmed your wrap-up - let me know in the comments below and I'll add it onto the list. Will you be going next year?
