Hello Me, It's You edited by Hannah Todd

Trigger Warning: Due to the nature of this book, there may be some letters that can be triggering, containing deeply personal experiences of depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, trichotillomania and other mental health issues, as well as issues such as assault.

Hello Me, It's You is a collection of anonymous letters by young adults to their 16-year-old selves. It was organised by the Hello Me, It's You charity set up by Hannah Todd (the editor of this book) to encourage young people to talk about their problems and any mental health conditions that they may be dealing with. This book deeply touched me, and I felt as though my heart was being ripped out by some of the stories. Some of them I could relate on a personal level and others, I just felt heartbroken for what other people have experienced. This book is very necessary and will have you feeling less alone, regardless of what you may be experiencing yourself. It's touching, deeply emotional and raw, and uplifting.

Hello Me, It's You reminds us all that life goes on, no matter what happens, and you will come out stronger and with lessons learned.
