Kindred Spirits by Rainbow Rowell

Kindred Spirits by Rainbow Rowell

Elena is obsessed with Star Wars. Having been raised watching the originals and being an ultimate fan, Elena decides to camp outside of the cinema for the release of the new movie. She expected big crowds, people dressed up and nerds connecting on a molecular level. What she found was much different, but she discovered so much more about herself than she could ever imagine.

Yes, the above synopsis makes this little mini-story sound cheesy and sentimental and whilst it's not, it kind of is at the same time. Rainbow Rowell has done it again - this time in mini form and unsurprisingly, I loved it. Every character in the book was lovable and relatable (I LOVED Elena's mum) and the story was intriguing, heart-warming, funny at times and just generally lovely. Highly recommend reading this little book.
