The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee

I ADORE THIS BOOK. I must admit I really wasn’t too bothered by the synopsis of this when I first heard about it, but then it was the BOTM for a book blogging group I’m part of so I thought “Well I might as well join in”. So I picked it up and let me tell you it was the best choice I ever made!

I love the dynamic between Monty and Percy, they work so well together and their relationship is brilliantly written. I loved how headstrong Monty is and it was so historically accurate with how his relationship with Percy was portrayed.

Felicity is also one of the most amazing side characters I’ve ever read, and her character added so much depth to the story. She was a perfect addition, and between them all they were amazing.

The story itself completely pulled me in, & although I expected it to be a straight forward story there was so much action included, it was a wonderful surprise!

This book was a masterpiece of a novel. With hilarious moments, tense scenes and historical settings, Mackenzi did a beautiful job.

Oh and to top it off, do you want more Felicity in your life? Well she’s getting her own book! I can’t wait!

I find escape through writing down anything and everything I can think of, from reviews to advice pieces! You can always find me with my nose in a book, or a pen in my hand. I've the loved the YA genre from a very young age. Since the moment I first binge read Twilight, I've never looked back since. Books give me an escape from everything, and I couldn't imagine life without them.
