Young and Hungry

Young and Hungry

Set in San Francisco, this hilarious series follows Gabi Diamond as she gets a job working for a rich bachelor as his own personal chef. Season one aired September 2014 and the second just premiered on March 25, 2015. Disney star Emily Osment shows just how much she's grown up in this Young Adult comedy aimed at late teens and I couldn't be more in love with this show.

I've always had a soft spot for light and airy shows that don't take themselves too seriously and this definitely fits that role. The dynamics between the characters are so fun to watch and I love each and every character within this show, particularly Gabi. One of my favourite aspects of the show, is the decor. Josh's huge condo is to die for and the views from his balcony are breathtaking, but it is Gabi's tiny one-bed apartment that steals the show for me. Decorated with mis-matched prints and quirky bookcases, I really like this apartment and would happily live here myself! The story lines can be a bit predictable at times, but the comedy is what really makes this show a hit, in my opinion. I would highly recommend starting this series if you want a new light comedy to obsess over.
